What do I do if I missed the first Chem 108 class?
The first Chem 108 class will meet on Tues. Aug. 26. Be sure to get to the campus bookstore at the HUB and pick-up the required Chem 108 student packet and a 2 inch binder to hold the packet. Please bring your Chem 108 packet, binder, and Chem 110 textbook to Tuesday's class on Aug. 26.
Please note: If you register on or after Tuesday Sept. 2, make every effort to complete the Day 1 Questionnaire assignment by the time your next Chem 108 class meets on Tues. Sept. 9 and explain any delay to your Chem 108 TA. If you have not been able to get a hold of the Chem 108 Student Packet you can get the class 1 and 2 homework from this Web site.
When doing the assignments, keep in mind the following points:
A. In general, points for all assignments (group worksheets, and homework sets) will be awarded based on effort rather than results, i.e., if the assignment is done on time and with reasonable care, the maximum points will be given, even if there are some mistakes in the work.
B. Homework that is due will be collected at the beginning of class. Any homework handed in after that time will be considered late and will receive little or no credit. ALL assignments can be handed in early.
