LECTURE NOTES

Main Page

Here you can find copies of transparencies shown in class in a printable version (get Adobe Reader to access the pdf format ). They will be posted here a few days in advance of the lecture, and you should print them and bring them to class. They will help you to keep good lecture notes. They will provide a "skeleton"; you have to make your own annotations, and occasionally even to "fill the blanks".  Use the empty spaces and reverse sides for you own notes.

For all of you who desperately want to save paper, you may print a version with two transparencies per page or four transparencies per pageBut be warned: there will be no space for your notes, and some figures may get distorted if you print it too small.  Note that, regardless of the size (how many transparencies per page), you may use two side printing (if your printer is setup to do that). The options are available under the "Properties" box in the Adobe Acrobat "Print" window.
