Your Section Number (Recitation)
Your Student ID number


(Scratch paper, a Periodic Table and a Constants and Equations data sheet will be provided for all Exams)


The exam schedule is given in the syllabus. All exams and homework problems are being given during regular class time so no conflict exams will be provided.

Exam 1     Friday        July 18        Lectures 1-8; Pollock Testing Center

You will receive an official email asking you to sign up for one of the following times: reply or you will not be able to take the test.

12:45 - 2:00 pm

2:20 - 3:35 pm

8:00 - 9:15 am

Exam I Review Session will be held Thursday July 17, 3:55-5:10 PM in 160 Willard, covering FA07 Exam I from the yellow student packet.

Exam 2     Friday     Aug. 1         Lectures 9-16

You will receive an official email asking you to sign up for one of the following times: reply or you will not be able to take the test.

9:35 - 10:50 am

2:20 - 3:35 pm

8:00 - 9:15 am

Exam 2 Review Session will be held Thursday July 31, 3:55-5:10 PM in 262 Willard, covering any questions you have.

All exams are multiple-choice tests. They are constructed in such a way as to emphasize active understanding of the material, rather than memorization. The hints on studying strategies (Survival Skills) are provided under a separate heading. For your reference, some old exams are collected on the web.
