News and Updates

Welcome to Chem 110 for this summer semester. We hope that you will find the course to be intellectually stimulating, challenging, and interesting.

Please visit the book store and purchase the yellow Chem 110 Student Packet as well as the required text book.  If the bookstore has run out, place an order at the service desk, and if necessary you can view the following materials on this Web site. You will need copies of these as soon as possible.

Syllabus

General Information; NOTE that the section on Lecture Problems and grading has been changed from that published in the student packet.

Supplemental Problems: These are in your student packet but extra copies are available here.

Prerequisites: (or Background) This document lists the expectations we have for someone taking this course. Please read this through and if you are not sufficiently prepared for this class you should contact the instructor  right away to explore your options. If you have taken High School Chemistry but it was not a recent experience and you feel you may need extra help in this course, consider taking Chem 108. Information about Chem 108 is given below and at the Chem 108 Course Web page.

What do I do if I missed the first Chem 110 class on Wed. July 2nd???
