First Day of Class (Spring 2008)
Chem 111 begins on Monday, January 14, 2008 for Section 101 and Sections 102-104 on Tuesday, January 22, 2008.
When you come to the first meeting, you should already have (and bring with you) the following 4 items :
- Lab Manual - "PSU Chemtrek" This will be used for both Chem 111 and 113. The current edition is Aug. 2007. The Aug. 2006 version may also be used, provided that you write in the updated information (this will be provided upon request).
- Chem 111 Student Packet, Spring 2008- This contains the course syllabus and other handouts necessary for the course.
- Eye Protection - There are 4 or 5 approved styles sold in the Penn State Bookstore. Choose a style you like. More detailed information on eye protection is given elsewhere in this packet.
- Chem 111 Lab Kit (In a big zip lock bag, sold only in the Penn State Bookstore).
