- Bottled Water Web (http://www.bottledwaterweb.com) - This web site is a "portal for the bottled water industry." It is a good source of information about many bottled waters, including chemical analyses of some types. But, as you would expect from a trade site, it is biased in favor of the bottled water industry.
- The Water Quality Association (http://www.wqa.org/) - This site contains a short, well written article on the topic of "What makes water hard, and how hard water can be improved."
- International Bottled Water Association (http://www.bottledwater.org/) - This site provides information on regulations concerning bottled water and a page of frequently asked questions ( FAQs) on bottled water.
- USGS - Ground Water (http://capp.water.usgs.gov/GIP/gw_gip/index.html) - This site has definitions and explanations related to ground water. The Ground Water Quality section is of special interest.
