Supplemental Instruction (SI)
SI is..

  • A FREE tutoring service provided by Penn State.
  • Voluntary, no attendance requirement to attend each session. Come whenever you please. However, students who attend regularly see an increase in their grade by 1/2 or 1 letter!
  • A relaxed, non-formal learning experience.
  • An open door. Attend a session for 15 minutes only, or join us 30 minutes late.

    YOU can bring specific homework problems/general concept questions, OR
    YOU can sit back and "absorb" chemistry.
