Supplemental Instruction (SI)
SI is..
A FREE tutoring service provided by Penn State.
Voluntary, no attendance requirement to attend each session. Come whenever you please. However, students who attend regularly see an increase in their grade by 1/2 or 1 letter!
A relaxed, non-formal learning experience.
An open door. Attend a session for 15 minutes only, or join us 30 minutes late.
YOU can bring specific homework problems/general concept questions, OR
YOU can sit back and "absorb" chemistry.
SI sessions:
are not available in the summer, but check out the
University Learning Center
They provide tutors upon request.
